Pregnancy Journey: 9 weeks 4 days.

Congratulations for those of you who are spending this joyful time with me. For those who are not pregnant yet, this will good information for you. I am 9 weeks and 4 days pregnant and let me tell you it's rough. I am nauseous all the time. I have food aversions and I'm sensitive to smells. However, these symptoms are very normal. In fact, you actually want to have symptoms like this. It's your body's way of telling you it's going through major changes to prepare for a baby. It's been really difficult for me because I was a vegan (mentioned in the last blog) and I exercised everyday. Now I stopped exercising because of the nausea and I crave meat! Yes, I am no longer vegan. Vegan food actually turns me off now. It's interesting what hormones can do. I went from eating 6 smalls a day to barely getting in 2. I'm so nauseous that I have a hard time eating. I take my prenatals and DHA at night before so I can lay down after, so I don't feel sick. Welcome to the pregnant life. 😎
